1 — 08:30 — What’s New in FICO Xpress Solver?
In this presentation, we will give an overview of the latest enhancements, the newest features, and the most recent performance improvements in the FICO Xpress Solver for mixed-integer linear and nonlinear optimization problems. These include new heuristics, cutting and branching techniques, an augmented API, and updates to our global MINLP solver.
2 — 09:00 — What's new in Gurobi 11
We will give an overview about recent developments and performance improvements within Gurobi 11.
Gurobi provides an optimization solver software package, free for academics, able to tackle numerous types of as mathematically formulated optimization problems. Its capabilities include solving linear programming (LP), quadratic programming (QP), quadratically constrained programming (QCP), mixed-integer linear and non-linear programming (MIP incl. MILP, MIQP, MICQP, MIQCQP and MINLP) to proven optimality. Additionally, multi-objectives, scenarios, and callback support, an irreducible infeasible subsystem (IIS) finder, a model instance tuner, a lazy constraint feature and a variety of general purpose heuristics are integrated into Gurobi.
3 — 09:30 — Enhancing the HiGHS MIP solver
The practical performance of the HiGHS MIP solver has led the open-source world since 2022. This talk will discuss the recent performance enhancements and new features that have extended the MIP solver's capabilities. An overview of use cases and other recent developments in HiGHS will also be given.
4 — 10:00 — Recent Progress in the Cardinal Optimizer
In this talk, we present the recent advances in the Cardinal Optimizer (COPT). We highlight some key computational and theoretical improvements and evaluate their impact on the performance of our MIP solver. We provide an overview of the performance numbers of the latest COPT release for all supported problem classes.
